It’s time to renew your membership ($10) for another year and get up-to-date on the latest happenings in our county.

After the drought, the water wars and the threat of the spigot being turned off in Atlanta, we have   invited a panel of experts to discuss

Proposed Water Supply and Storage Options & Challenges that will affect the economic and environmental future of Dawson County.

WEE BOOKS of Dawson County

Where:
Kinsey Family Farm (7170 Jot Em Down Rd)

Why:
To support the Wee Books Program to bring an
age appropriate book to every pre-school child
in Dawson County each month. Currently serving 650 children
That's 7800 books a year!!

Ticket includes admission, BBQ dinner, two wines/beers or soft drinks,
square dancing with instruction!

Wee Books of Dawson County is a non-profit community funded program
that puts a FREE book in the hands of preschoolers each month.
The books come from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
through the Ferst Foundation of GA and are funded by individuals
like you, local businesses and civic groups. A donation of
$36 brings one book each month to one child for one year
Young readers become future leaders.
